Speak to a College and Career Advisor. Log in with your NYC Public School account information. This service is available every Tuesday through Friday, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm.

Connect with Your School Counselor

Students should schedule a one-on-one meeting with their school counselor or someone they trust at their school to discuss their plan for after high school.

Meetings with school counselors should include the following topics:

Discuss pathways to future careers,
Get help with financial aid and financial resources,
Discuss next steps, and
Reach out to borough Transition and College Access Centers (TCACs) for support with IEPs.

Apply to CUNY

High school seniors at NYC Public Schools can now apply to CUNY more easily using the new CUNY Fast App. The CUNY application is FREE for NYCPS seniors applying for Fall 2026 undergraduate admission between October 27 and November 21, 2025.
