POSITION:

Teachers

Office of Student Pathways - New York City Career and Technical Education Program Quality Implementation and Evaluation Resource Developer

Approximately 2 positions

 

LOCATION:

In person at 110 William Street, 15th Floor; NY, NY 10038

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

NYC Department of Education licensed and appointed Teacher

 

SELECTION CRITERIA:

Preference will be given to teachers:

  • with at least three (3) years of satisfactory/highly effective/effective experience within the NYCDOE
  • currently working to support CTE programs of study in the NYSED program approval process
  • working to develop CTE program resources to be used to support NYSED program approval and quality

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and update CTE program resources related to program approval, quality and implementation
  • Participate in activities related to renewal of the Health Careers Clinical Contract Renewal process
  • Participate in activities as needed and directed by Deputy Executive Director, CTE and Senior Directors for the cultivation of resource content to be posted online and shared with schools
  • Develop resources and participate in activities in connection with CTE Teacher recruitment

 

WORK SCHEDULE:

July 1, 2024 – September 4, 2024

 

Monday through Friday, either outside contracted work hours or between 9:00am-5:00pm; select Saturdays as arranged in advance, between the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm. Hours up to, but not limited to, approximately 400 hours, subject to budget availability.

 

Hours up to, but not limited to the approximate number of hours listed. Additional hours may be granted upon the approval of the hiring manager.

 

SALARY:

Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent upon funding availability and programmatic approval.
