Marielle has over ten years of policy, advocacy, and program management experience in international affairs. She has held roles in the United Nations, government, and non-profit organizations. Marielle is a Security Fellow with the Truman National Security Project.
Locally, Marielle is a member of Manhattan Community Board 12 where she serves as the Housing and Human Services Chair in her native Washington Heights and Inwood. She also serves as the Manhattan Borough Appointee for the Department of Youth and Community Development's Community Action Board.
Marielle holds a Bachelor of Science in International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the State University of New York at Fredonia as well as a Master of Science in Global Affairs from New York University.
An alum herself of public schools, she has two children, one in early childhood programming and one in elementary school.
