Raysa S. Rodriguez (she/her) is a lifelong child advocate, with over two decades of experience promoting equity in education, housing, child welfare, and economic justice. Her policy wins include expanding access to universal Pre-K, advancing salary parity for the early childhood workforce, increasing housing subsidies for families exiting shelter, and passing state legislation that ends the arrest and prosecution of children under 12. Rodriguez became CCC’s Executive Director in March 2025. She previously served as FPWA’s Chief Program and Policy Officer, overseeing policy advocacy and the delivery of nonprofit supports while expanding the organization’s focus on fiscal policy research and impact evaluation. As Vice President of Policy and Planning at WIN, NYC’s largest provider of family shelter and supportive housing, she led efforts to improve outcomes for children and families experiencing housing insecurity. At United Way of New York City, she served as Associate Vice President for Education, leading initiatives spanning early childhood through K-12. Earlier in her career, she served as a Senior Advisor on Children’s Issues for the Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services under Mayor Bloomberg. A product of NYC’s public school system, Rodriguez was born and raised in the Bronx, where she began her career as a public school Kindergarten teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Cornell University and a Master of Science from Columbia University School of Social Work, where she is an Adjunct Professor. She lives in Queens with her husband and two children.
