JSM v. NYCDOE Public Reporting

The following data is provided pursuant to Section XI.C.1 of the JSM v NYCDOE Stipulation of Settlement.

The number of DPCs pending as of the close of each Reporting Period, including the school years in which the pending DPCs were originally filed. Note that while a DPC is pending, the parties may engage in resolution meetings, meditation or settlement negotiations to resolve the claims, or the case may proceed to an impartial hearing.

The number of DPCs filed during the Reporting Period for which Resolution sessions were neither waived by the Parent nor scheduled within fifteen (15) days of the date the DPC was filed. Note that due to the nature of this process, this data may be incomplete.

The number of DPCs where the selection process to assign an IHO was not commenced within two (2) business days of the date the DPC was filed during the Reporting Period.
